MATCH REPORTS
Saturday 28th January
The Sky Blues U15 side played Carnmoney Colts in their South Belfast league fixture at the Valley. The first period of this game was closely contested with both sides going close on a number of occasions but the game was settled when the Colts scored two quick goals just before the break to lead 2-0 at the interval. A goal early in the second half sealed to result for the Colts although the Sky Blues side to their credit battled right to the final whistle.

Saturday 12th November
The Sky Blues South Belfast Under 15 squad had a league fixture this week against Aquinas at Boucher Road. In a super first half both sides went into the interval level at 2-2. The second half proved to be as good as the first with both sides scoring a goal each to make the score 3-3. In the final 10 minutes and with both sides going for the winner it was the Apex team who produced that magic goal through Alistair Bell to win the game and the points.

Saturday 22nd October
This week's South Belfast League fixture for the Apex Sky Blues Under 15's was against Orangefield at Shore Road. The Sky Blues side took control of this game in the first period when they scored 4 goals with no reply from the opposition. In the second half the Sky Blues created chances with attacks down both flanks and by the final whistle had added a further 5 goals to their tally with Orangefield responding with two.

Saturday 17th September
The Under 15 squad played a league game at the Valley with Carrick
providing the opposition. It was the Apex side who had the better
opportunities in a closely contested first half and they went into the
break with a 1-0 advantage. Early in the second half Carrick grabbed
themselves an equaliser which set up an exciting finish. There was ten
minutes remaining in the game when the Sky Blues got their second goal
of the game and one that went on to prove to be the winner. This match
was a good game of football played in a good sporting manner with both
sides attempting to get the ball down and play as match as possible.

Saturday 3rd September
The Sky Blues Under 15's opening East Antrim Youth League game was at
Greenisland with Carnmoney providing the opposition. This was a close
encounter with both teams attacking at every opportunity. In a game
which was played in great spirit and provided end to end action it was
Carnmoney who at fulltime came out the winners with a 2-1 win.
