Saturday 25th March
The young Apex Under 11 squad started the quicker of the two teams when they played Barn at Three Mile water. In the first half the Apex side went in front by 2-0 only for Barn to pull a goal back but by the halftime whistle the Sky Blues had restored their two goal advantage. In the second half Barn pressed hard but the Sky Blues were dangerous on the counter attack and by the end of the game had added a further two goals to their tally with Darren McKnight scoring a hattrick.

Saturday 11th March
On Saturday the young Sky Blues U11's played Templepatrick at Rathcoole in an East Antrim League fixture. In a close first half it was Templepatrick who made the most of their chances and went into the break 1-0 ahead. The Sky Blues responded strongly in the second half and goals from Bobby Crowe and Darren McKnight secured the points and the win for the Apex side.

Saturday 25th February
On Saturday the young Apex Sky Blues U11’s played their East Antrim League fixture against Carrick at the Valley. Carrick started the stronger of the two sides and by halftime found themselves 2-0 in front. The second half was a closer affair with the Sky Blues going close on a number of occasions but the Carrick defence stood firm to keep a clean sheet.

Saturday 18th February
On Saturday the young Sky Blues U11’s played 18th Newtownabbey at the Valley. After the opening exchanges the game settled down and the Sky Blues started to control the game. The opposition defended strongly to their credit but the Apex attack was in good form and with three goals either side of the interval they comfortably won the game and the points.

Saturday 4th February
On Saturday the young Under 11 squad played Larne Youth in an East Antrim youth league fixture at the Valley. This game proved to be a one sided affair with the Sky Blues side producing attacks down both flanks on every opportunity. Larne Youth to their credit never gave in and even although they found themselves defending for most of the game they battled through to the final whistle. Three goals either side of the break gave the Apex team both a deserved win and the points on the day.

Saturday 28th January
The young Apex Sky Blues Under 11’s traveled to Sandy Bay this week to play Larne Colts in an East Antrim League fixture. In a close first half it was the home side from Larne who opened the scoring to be ahead at the break 1-0. After the restart the Sky Blues put the Larne defence under pressure and quickly got themselves an equalizer. Midway through the second half the Apex side got their noses in front with a well taken goal at the back post but the Colts responded strongly and made it 2-2 with ten minutes remaining. As the game moved towards the final whistle both teams went in search of a winner but both defences stood firm and both sides shared the points with a 2-2 final score.

Saturday 12th November
On Saturday the young Sky Blues played an East Antrim League fixture against Comber at Three Mile playing fields. In an even first half both sides went in level at 1-1 after Comber had opened the scoring only to see the Sky Blues equalise before the break. In the second half Comber had a chance to go in front when they were awarded a penalty but the spot kick was saved by Jake Cochrane in the Apex goal to keep his side on level terms. As the final whistle approached and it appeared that the points would be shared Comber scored a winning goal just before fulltime to take the points.

Saturday 29th October
On Saturday the young Apex Sky Blues U11 squad played an East Antrim League game against Larne Youth at Rathcoole. In an Exciting and close first half the Sky Blues opened the scoring only for the Larne side to equalise before the break. In the second half both sides attacked in search of a winning goal and at fulltime it was the Apex side who got their noses in front with a well converted goal at the back post.

Saturday 22nd October
On Saturday the young Sky Blues Under 11's made the journey to Beltoy to play Carrick in their East Antrim League fixture. In a strong first period it was Carrick who made the most of their opportunities and found themselves going into the break 3-0 ahead. In the second half the Sky Blues started the stronger of the two sides and put on a better performance and by fulltime each side had scored two goals each in the second period to make Carrick the winners on the day.

Saturday 8th October
On Saturday the Apex Sky Blues East Antrim Youth League Under 11 team played 18th Newtownabbey at Three Mile and the Under 12 squad played hosts to Carrick at the Valley. The opening exchanges of the Under 11's game were closely contested but after the game settled down it was the young Sky Blues side who came out on top and started to control the pattern of play. Three goals either side of the interval made sure the win and the points were secured for the Apex side.

Saturday 1st October
On Saturday the young Sky Blues Under 11 squad played their East Antrim League fixture at the Valley with Upper Ardoyne providing the opposition. After the opening exchanges it was the Sky Blues who played the better football and by the interval they had been rewarded with two goals to give them a 2-0 advantage. In the second half the Sky Blues side got stronger as the game went on and Upper Ardoyne to their credit stuck to the task through to the final whistle. At fulltime the Apex side had scored a further three goals to give themselves the win and the points.

Saturday 17th September
In the East Antrim Youth league on Saturday the young Apex Sky Blues Under 11's made the journey to Larne to play Larne Youth at Sandy Bay. The young Sky Blues side took control of this game early on and played great team football throughout the match. Larne Youth never gave up and kept going right through to the final whistle which was a credit to their spirit. At the final whistle it was the Sky Blues who came out the winners of the fixture and the points with 3 goals either side of the halftime break.

Saturday 10th September
The Under 11's played Larne Colts in what proved to be an entertaining game for all those playing and watching. In a closely contested first half it was Larne who took a 2-0 advantage into the break. In the second half the Larne side showed their strength and by fulltime they had added a further 4 goals to their score with the Sky Blues grabbing a consolation goal with 5 minutes remaining.

Saturday 3rd September
On Saturday the new Apex Sky Blues Under 11's started their first season of competitive football in the East Antrim Youth League when the travelled to Whitehead to play Whitehead Eagles. In a close first half it was the Sky Blues who went into the interval with a 1-0 advantage after a well struck shot from Darren McKnight. In the second half Whitehead started strongly and brought the score level after 5 minutes play. As the game entered its closing minutes and with both sides going for the win it was Whitehead who got the winner which left the young Sky Blues side with no points from the game but a creditable opening game performance at the start of the season.
